Why is the LAPD trying to effectively route Measure HHH funding away from the organizations that can do the most to solve this crisis?
The effective disenfranchisment of the people of Skid Row by LA’s Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE) has been going on for months.
The point isn’t to overcome the feeling of disgust, it's to pacify it in a warm empathy bath.
Hopefully it won’t take half of the city getting kicked to the curb to start mobilizing a critical mass of residents to action.
