This is the most important race for LA County Sheriff in history
On April 25, 2022 at 6 PM, Knock LA presented an in-person sheriff candidates forum in Antelope Valley. It was be co-moderated by Cerise Castle, the author of A Tradition of Violence, the History of Deputy Gangs in the LASD.
Despite originally agreeing to appear, Alex Villanueva pulled out of our sheriff candidate forum, claiming the event was not being put on by “community organizations.” Some groups co-hosting the event included victims of deputy violence.
The forum was live-streamed, so everyone could stay informed about the most important LASD election in County history. There were Spanish and ASL translation. Watch the recording on YouTube.
